The Times They Are A-Changin'

Wow! Covid-19 has literally changed the world. In these past 4 months, I've noticed a change in myself concerning disc golf, AnhyzerTV and my personal life. On a previous blog post (read here) I explained how Coronavirus screwed up a lot of the plans I had for AnhyzerTV. I also had an idea on what we would be doing when things returned to normal. Since that post, nothing has really returned to normal! The world it seems, is still on fire.

Disc golf has always had a very strong pull on me. I was at the course. I was trying to make videos, I was trying to make websites, I was watching tournament coverage. I was glued in as much as possible. I love the sport. I had hoped to take AnhyzerTV from a hobby into something a bit more. But the tour being shutdown allowed me to look elsewhere for just a bit and that's all it took.

When I looked elsewhere I found an interest in something else and I have decided to pursue that with more energy. I'm going back to finish my degree in Business Economics. I should, depending on how hard these math classes are, be able to knock it out in 2 years. I am very excited to use my brain for something I think will be extremely beneficial.

The DG Discussion podcast won't be back for the foreseeable future. The YouTube channel will get a few videos here and there but it won't be the same. We will also not be running our tournament this year in the Fall. Schedule changes along with my classes made that a no-go.

AnhyzerTV has a decent sized following so that won't go to waste. I will still be utilizing social media to share disc golf news and updates along with simple videos and pictures. I will also continue selling discs online and trying to (slowly) grow the online store. I also have plans to do a few things here locally for the club and our players.

So that's it. That's the update. I invite you all to follow us on all our social media channels and sign up for the email list.
